Say Bye-Bye to loud, vibrant, crazy and neon colours and WELCOME NEUTRALS!
This season neutral colours like black, brown, grey, taupe and Co. are by no means just basics.
They've become huge STATEMENTS instead!

Read on to learn more about this trend!

Basically what this trend is about are items that bear neutral/nude colours.
Neutral colours are e.g. black, white, brown, taupe, camel, blush, cream and the like.

Let me tell you, I'm so IN LOVE with this neutral coloured style!
For several reasons that is:

1. Neutrals suit EVERYONE.
Really everyone can sport those colours, no matter which skin, hair or eye colour!

2. Neutrals match EVERY OCCASION.
Be it a formal event, a party night out, a casual date or for school and university...
choose the right clothing item in a neutral shade and you're always appropriately dressed!
For example: Neutral coloured blouses often come with silver/golden or sequin accents on the collars. This type of blouse goes very well with a pair of skinny pants. And voilĂ  - there you have a very polished, elegant look for more formal occasions!
On the other hand, there are, for instance, a ton of neutral coloured pullovers and sweaters out there. Pair an oversized grey/taupe/blush sweater on a pair of black leggings and you have a super relaxed everyday look!

3. Neutrals can be incorporated into EVERY CLOTHING ITEM.
You want your neutrals on your bottoms? Your tops? Your handbags? Your accessory?
- No problem! You don't even have to look for them, neutrals can be found everywhere at any time!

4. Neutrals can be paired with EVERY OTHER COLOUR.
That's a treat that only neutrals provide you with. It's a fool-proof concept! You can pair neutrals with every single colour!

5. Neutrals are TIMELESS.
Neutrals were in style in the past, are in style right now and will be in style in the near and far future!
You should have them around in your wardrobe at any time because they are essential basics.

6. Neutrals exude SOPHISTICATION.
Because of the fact that they are timeless colours that never go out of style, you can never go wrong with an outfit that consists of neutrals only. You won't be breaking any dress codes wearing neutrals, which is why they are so appropriate for formal events. You must have heard of the common must-have items "Little Black Dress" or "Nude Pumps". These are 2 examples that add a huge amount of sophistication and elegance to your appearance. And guess what? - Black and nude happen to be neutrals!
You thought that neutrals look boring? - On the contrary, I say that neutrals can indeed look sexy!

Still not convinced? Let me whip out some of my favourite neutral coloured pieces:

Winter is coming up on us and a winter without knits is unbearable.
Personally I love these short loop knit scarves. And the neutral colour causes me to love
them even more because I can wear them with every outfit to feel all cozy and warm!
Same concept, different items: These knit beanies in black and white add
a little bit of cuteness to my outfits!
As you might have noticed by now, I'm really into knits. And here are
two of my favourite knit sweaters. A blush and a dark grey toned one.
I love to either pair them with high-waisted skinny jeans or tug them into a cute A-line skirt.
Here is how I bring those neutrals onto my hands: Neutral coloured nail polishes in blush,
taupe and beige
. Out of those three the taupe shade is probably the most popular these days.
Rock some neutrals on your eyes!
In order to create the perfect neutral coloured eye makeup, for me there really is nothing
better than the Urban Decay Naked Palette! It contains all the neutral shades you need.
For a longer wear I like to use Maybelline's 24h Colour Tattoos as a base.

If you haven't yet filled up your wardrobe with neutral coloured items, then I
suggest you to really dig into this trend. You won't ever be regretting it, because those items will last you forever. Neutrals are great in so many ways, as I have hopefully proved to you by now.
So go out there and ROCK YOUR NEUTRALS!
